LOOM Castellana 85, our new flexible office space, will be located in AZCA, and will have 1,800 m2 accessible to all types of companies and professionals looking for a space with premium qualities in an emblematic building.
Next January 2023 we will open the second workspace in the heart of AZCA, the most important economic and financial complex in Madrid, after the opening of LOOM Castellana 93 this 2022.
This new space, conceived by the well-known architecture studio Ballarín Mendoza, has prioritized the versatility and modularity of the space, its luminosity and the use of predominantly natural materials.
“There is no other flexible workspace with the mature and elegant aesthetics that we have given to the interior design of Castellana 85. Here we have tried to recover that lost elegance and warmth of classic offices.
On the other hand, it is pioneering in the circular thinking behind it. From the chosen finishes, which not only contain a high percentage of recycled material, but can be easily disassembled, replaced, reused elsewhere and eventually recycled again. Even the low-consumption installations have a centralized control system that monitors their consumption and correct operation.
But the most advanced aspect of the project is the flexibility that has been integrated into the partitioning systems: the offices can be expanded and divided without the need for building work in a single day, and the meeting rooms in a matter of minutes by means of movable partitions,” says Ramón Mendoza, the architect in charge of the project at Ballarín Mendoza.
LOOM Castellana 85 is characterized by its premium qualities, in a diaphanous and efficient floor plan that enjoys natural light throughout its perimeter and a privileged balcony overlooking the Paseo de la Castellana.

“It is a very different space where the elegance of a classic office is mixed with the freshness of surprising materials and spaces. The quality of the finishes and the attention to detail has been exceptional in this project; it is a space in which you will easily feel comfortable from the first moment. The location, access to natural light and views is another point that is difficult to match by any other workspace in the city,” Mendoza continues.
Castellana 85 is a building recently refurbished by MERLIN Properties and houses the headquarters of Accenture and Elecnor. In Castellana 85, MERLIN Properties replicates the successful model already implemented in other office buildings in its portfolio, where workspace can be consumed in long-term contracts and also on a monthly or hourly basis, as in Torre Glories, Castellana 93, or Torre Chamartín, where conventional office floors and flexible office floors coexist in the same building.
LOOM Castellana 85 will have a total of 20 offices, 8 meeting rooms and 196 workstations. In total, a surface area of more than 1,800 square meters, which will be available 24 hours a day and with turnkey delivery.
The location offers all kinds of features, such as ergonomic furniture, relax areas, training and event areas, state-of-the-art technology and many other services to promote the personal and professional growth of users, one of the main purposes of the LOOM Experience program.
With this new opening, LOOM adds 13 spaces in Madrid and Barcelona. Specifically, there will be 9 locations in Madrid and a total of 4 in Barcelona. Currently, companies such as EIT, Wella, Pepsi, Urban Mobility, PWC, JLL, Ricoh, Dr.Smile or Atrapalo are betting on our workspaces as main headquarters or to refer specific teams.
In addition, we plan to continue growing in the AZCA area with the upcoming opening of a new space in Plaza Ruiz Picasso, a building owned by MERLIN Properties, (currently undergoing a complete renovation).
